Visit My New Shop Addition And Enjoy A Pre-Opening Sale!

Some day my prince will come! In the meantime I think I'll shop!

Combination of 94 and 96 Main Street NW. The Little Shop Of Arts And Antiques is already growing. Take a peek and see our pre-opening sale at 96 Main St.

I love my shop - but in less than two months, I've outgrown it! With some very exciting events scheduled through July, I needed more room to bring the talent I want into Old Town! So I rented the little house next door. Now The Little Shop Of Arts And Antiques is ready for anything! The new space will include a Cafe that sells bottled water, canned drinks and snacks on the front glassed porch. All the windows can be opened on a lovely day and you can inhale the fresh air and hear the sounds of the small town traffic as it passes by! The large main room is my events room! Book signings, writing classes, art openings and coming in July, a mini writer's conference. The two back rooms will be set up as meeting rooms, with all the antique/vintage pieces for sale. Rooms will be available for rent at reasonable rates for small events. Space is limited, so book early.

That said - the garden shop at my original spot will be open for business the end of March.

So many wonderful things - I am doing a pre-opening sale. Look at some of the treasures below and if you are interested let me know! I love to wheel and deal and make shopping fun and easy! I also love selling to the trade and understand your needs.

Here are some sneak peeks at the new space at 96 Main Street and items/prices. The official opening of 96 Main St. NW is March 26th, but I am ready to sell now.

Remember 94 Main Street is open with great events and lovely treasures. This Saturday the shop opens at 9AM to join in with the neighborhood yard sale down by City Hall. Lilburn artist Peggy Sullens will be exhibiting her work and plen air painting in front of the shop!

I will post a full list of events within the next week.

Shop Getting Dressed Up For Book Signing Tomorrow!

Spent the day chatting with folks from Patch.com. A great group for neighborhood advertising. In between visits with folks, I spruced the shop up, added more new items and a touch of steampunk in honor of our guest author Emilie P. Bush tomorrow!
A sneak peek of how the shop will look tomorrow when I open the doors at 11 am!
Chenda in our front window! View from inside. Another mannequin is looking out with Emilie's book!
A little steampunk look and cards by Pam King Photography.
Some steampunk for Valentine's Day. Art cards by Audrey Frank. Just the perfect one-of-a-kind design for your special Valentine!
A new selection of cards by Audrey Frank came in this week. Already they are selling well!
Lots of vintage Valentine charm necklaces, charm bracelets and other girly delights!
Need a purse? Lots of ice cream color leather for spring and my favorite, vintage western look and tooled leather Mexican handbags! Who can resist a chair with Mickey on it either?
Vintage oriental lady lamp base and late 1800s floral oil painting!
My newest mannequin watching over the shop at night.
Moving to the second room!
A mixture of vintage pieces and my children's book cupboard!
My favorite old farm table full of vintage silverplate!
Vintage art is tucked everywhere!
Can't wait for tomorrow. Rain or shine, it will be bright at The Little Shop Of Arts And Antiques when we greet Emilie P. Bush!

Sneak Peek! Art Rubber Stamp Cards By Artist Audrey Frank

As the week begins for the shop's grand opening on Saturday, there will be a sneak peek each night of some of the one-of-a-kind items and artists who will share their work with us!
Hand stamped and colored art rubber stamp original card.

Tonight, family first! My mother is a rubber stamp artist and was a pioneer in the field of art stamping when it first started to become an art form some many years back. Mother's shop, Stamp Augustine, in St. Augustine, Florida, was a destination for other stampers to learn the different techniques and to buy unusual stamps to work with. Mother sold her shop, but still continues her love of rubber stamping.

She was a featured artist online at Claire's Collectibles, and loves to visit this favorite art rubber stamp shop around the corner from her house. You can see more of mother's work on this site, June Artist Audrey Frank .

Each card is a wonderful, one-of-a-kind, hand stamped, colored and designed work of art. Many of her cards are embellished with trims that make the card 2-dimensional.

These cards are unique and will be sure to please family and friends who receive them!

While the scans of the cards are lovely, they do not show the true beauty and details of the actual cards.

Ribbons, glitter, 2-D embellishments, and more, make each little card a special work of art! Audrey Frank's line of cards will be available at The Little Shop Of Arts And Antiques starting with our grand opening on Jan. 22nd.
